Giddy pace of life, constant change, growth, degeneration. and uncertainty: with these in mind, I scrutinize objects that at first, seem detached from their original purpose. I collect and disintegrate these objects until their initial identity is forgotten, a process that often compels me to relinquish their beauty and wholeness. My subsequent attempt to reassemble the parts comes from my fascination with impossible associations, irrational bonds. The destruction enables me to turn inwards and experience a type of restoration. It also becomes a condition for further reconstruction: the creation of a new piece with an autonomous identity and life.
